This should be a Happy New Year post! Hope you have the best in 2012 - good health, prosperity, family love and joy!
Catching up on my lack of December 2011 posts: We picked a simple craft this year for AA to do; there are plenty of pine-cones in our neighborhood, all over the street and walkways. We painted them white, gave a few away as gifts and trimmed our tree with them. I really like pine-cones (of course, I did grow up int he Pine Tree State!). AA loves painting, so we had some fun family time too. Then we trimmed the small outdoor tree on our front porch and the live one in the living room.
Happy New Year 2012!

Beautiful! I am so jealous of your beautiful weather.
I was looking at the picture of Mommy and daughter and was struck by the memory of seeing a blog post picture of Mommy walking the halls of the hotel room in China with an inconsolable AA. It seems like yesterday!
Hoping you had a very Merry Christmas and have a happy and healthy New Year.
By the way, the picture of AA's glasses peeking through the tree is my absolute favorite!
