New Fashion for your Home

I love "window shopping" and even though I grew up loving the Shaker/Mission style home furnishings and decorating I have to admit, I am coming over to the clean, simple lines of contemporary furnishings.
Of course, I am not sure I know what "contemporary" means, but if and when we ever move to our final home, our home will look very different than the dated jewel tones and dark wood stuff I have now. I want bright, light, color and space (probably will be hard to do in a smaller home, but will try!).
