Alpine Groves Park - Switzerland, Florida

We decided to head off to a park that was hosting an "Old Settlers Reunion" last weekend.
The park itself was very nice and on the riverfront. It was a very chilly morning so didn't stay as long as we planned.
There is a large playground that we enjoyed too, but will make that a separate post.

Old Settlers Reunion - From 11 a.m. until 4 p.m. Attractions will include live folk and country music, food and beverages, black-smithing, lots of games, arts and craft activities, and a cake walk. There will also be demonstrations for corn grinding, ...hoecakes and cane syrup.

The park interprets a 19th century farm and promotes environmental and historical education. Some unique features on the property include a restored 1800’s farmhouse, orange packing barn and horse stables.
