Day Three Continued - Newbury Street

Arriving at our lodgings on Newbury Street.... used the T subway and walked on lots of stairs and escalators (to AA's delight).

A used book store was a great place to visit awhile and purchased a few used children's books.

Many wonderful restaurants with outside cafe seating.......

And Daddy gave in and bought ice cream for AA (and himself!)..... Waiting in line.....

Sharing.....

Our first son commutes to Boston every day-a very long commute-but it really is a great city to visit. Two years ago I took a class to walk the African American Heritage Trail and they were all saying to one another, "Wow! I could live here!" In the north country, we tend to think of it as the big bad city (and sometimes it is, but it's also a great place).

My old stomping ground! How I miss Newbury St, Chinatown, the South End, Porter Sq (the Indian restaurants), Harvard Sq. and all of Boston. Looks like a great trip and so many fun places.

What a great trip. So glad you're all having fun. Never been to Boston, but seeing what fun you're having will definitely move it onto our "Places to visit" list.
