I participate in this Wednesday theme occasionally, check it out here. It reminds me to look at pictures in a different light.
Here are two from the County Fair, part of the Old Florida section that has old "cracker" houses, skill demonstrations such as pressing apples for cider and boiling down cane sugar juice into syrup. There is an old church and a one room school house, all from the local area that were donated to the County.
Couldn't have a post without a picture of AA; on our dock, Palm Sunday.

My post today included a classic car also! LOL
and Alyzabeth is adorable in her shades!
The county fair photos are perfect for B&W... they look fab!
Fabulous pictures!
All gorgeous black and whites!!!
love the sunglasses!
Great pictures! All of them! Really, REALLY good!
Love the old cars! All your pictures are great!!
We are so into the "olden" country days: so needless to say I LOVE the pics!
I kid around that we're the Beverly Hillbilly's...minus the fact that we don't live in California! ;)
Husband is an Investment Consultant and wears a suit by day (during the week that is). On the weekends and as soon as he gets home, he trades it in for a ratty t-shirt and athletic shorts and we can usually be found out back on our 3 acres with the bees, the chickens, the garden, or in the in-ground pool enjoying the views of one of the above mentioned things! LOL!
Wow....what a car. I love it. (Funny, I saw a very similar model just yesterday, on the road. Had to do a couble take.)
Color or b&w, AA always looks adorable. Love the wind in her hair.
Wow. All three of these pictures are so gorgeous! I would have never thought I would like apples without color, but that looks awesome : )
and the sunglasses : ) Priceless!
cool photos. :0) Love all these B & W photos I see on the blogs these days.
These are really fantastic! Those apples are my fav! I'm sure they were spectacular in color but really interesting in black and white! You're right -- bw does make us look at our photos differently.
