Today's Mother's Day Surprises

I opened my Mother's Day cards and enjoyed hugging AA lots more today! I received some jewelery AA selected: I am probably the worst Mom in the world, as DH let AA select something I could never wear, but as he said, AA was fixated on it....so he bought it.... too many gold chains and "southwestern" style colors, not for me...... AA won't remember this, right??
DH bought me a new planter and flowers for it. I like the tradition of receiving spring/summer bedding flowers/plants for the yard.

She liked the Hallmark musical card that DH gave to me.... it had AA and my picture on the front. He loves the one of us at the end of our dock....


A few weeks ago, AA and I planted some seeds with very optimistic hopes of them growing. The seed packets came with tiny pots from Target for $1.00. Seemed like an easy activity to do together.
We also dug up some free impatiens in the yard to add to several pots. All seem to be growing great! A little water.... Now to do the transplanting.....

AA wore her beautiful dress from Catherine's Chatter... it still fits... hopefully all this summer too!
