DH found a new (refurbished) camera and he practiced on our perfect subject matter!
I love the camera - clarity in the picture and better shots of AA's movement and expressions. Anyone have a camera like this one? Any tricks to it?
We will be checking it out more this weekend!

As always, your pictures look great! Don't know anything about cameras to help answer any questions. But, seriously, I think you could take pictures with a disposable camera and have great pictures. It's not always the camera, but the subject of interest :)
AA just gets prettier and prettier if that's even possible!
In regard to the WS barbie, you could probably still get yours. I just had to email them the dates we stayed and our room number (it was on our receipt) and they were able to charge the shipping to my credit card. If you want one, it really wasn't too much trouble and only ended up costing about $18 in shipping which is quite a bit cheaper than you pick them up on ebay or whatever.
Just a thought!
All pictures off AA are so cute, I'm sure the camera does not matter...I'm shopping around for a new one too. Heard good things about that one. Best of luck, and be sure to post how you like it.
I don't know a lot about cameras, but I sure do think that AA is the cutest!

Its the same camera I have :) exactly the same. I have not learned how to do everything manually, so i cant help u there. Next time you are up maybe i can show you what i know. Its a great camera tho.
Oooo...me lurves my Nikon D40! Bought it last summer. Ummm...still need to learn how to use it. Got the Nikon D40/D40X book for Christmas but still need to crack the cover.
Takes great pics even in the Auto setting. Cannot wait to learn from you...we can share tips as we learn them.
