After nap time, waking up is hard to do!!
I had posted about AA waking up very slowly after her nap, well... here she is with Baba (aka Dada) after today's nap time.
She just loves to be hugged, snuggled and prolong the sleepy time (of course she screams, cries and generally protests being put down for the nap...).
But once she wakes up she is so lovable!!!
Salty Dog is always close by, looking on....
Life is GRAND!

I just walked out of my living room and Jade and her Baba, John, are snuggled up exactly the same at the picture of your two loveys. I heard the screaming stop and peaked in to see the peacefulness. The moment of waking and just staring around the room just melts my heart!

Yes indeed--your DH must agree that its a grand thing, being the BaBa. Ours also pitches a colossal fit when put down for her nap, but is utterly gorgeous when she wakes up.

I remember those days with my son, oh how I long for him to nap these days...yeah! He's 13 now!! HA Love the snuggles!

Those pictures are just precious. Brings me back to when my 2 were little.
By the way I love your doggies name, Salty Dog..definitely takes you back to the oceanside.
Little T is a little different. She only fusses a bit when I put her down then she'll sleep a good 2 to 2 1/2 hours. I usually have to wake her up around 3:30 and oh my - look out - she is a BEAR!! This is only at nap time, in the morning she is cuddly and lovey!

She looks like me when I wake up from my nap! Only she's shorter. And cuter. And she doesn't have drool on half her face.

Our Yorkie, Bentley (AKA Gigi Dog) is the same way. He lays at the changing table when we do diaper changes, stays at the bathroom door during tubby time, and sleeps near Karsynn at night. It's the neatest relationship ever to witness! Dogs truly are "mans best friend!"

What an amazing time of year with a two year old -- can't get any better than that (except if you also have a three year old, too!).

I'll bet that while you were in China you never would have guessed that in such a short time AA would progress so far, from screaming and crying if BaBa came near her to enjoying snuggling on his chest.
