A video of our trip at the Pearl Market and back. As usual. No editing. For us, the trip rated a success as we are not the best of shoppers! I tried to post earlier today but the video was taking forever so I shortened it somewhat in hopes of finally getting this posted. As you can see I originally tried to upload at 1:30 PM but it wasn't happening. So here's our next attempt at 7:55 PM our time!

We have completed the US Consulate oath and we are ready to fly home in the morning! Once Alyzabeth gets her visa stamped by Immigration in Chicago we will have a NEW US CITIZEN!!! The one, the only, MS ALYZABETH AN!!!

Have a safe trip home. Thanks for allowing us to follow along with your journey. We've truly enjoyed watching the transformation of A.A. She's amazing! You are amazing parents! Remember, it's a long trip home, so be patient. We'll be praying for you all!!
Congratulations. I hope you all have peace on the flight and that everything goes smoothly. Remember to pack a change of clothes and toiletries in your carry on. Some of us forgot that. Some of us ended up living in Newark airport and the surrounds for 24 hours without those necessities. Learn from the stupid people.
All of Alyzabeth's fans will be waiting for her at home report!

That is so different than what I envisioned. I envisioned a roadside little shop, not a huge mall. Very cool.
Alyzabeth will love her pearls once she outgrows the cheerios stage :)
I love how you kept that camera going so much of the time, capturing so many of the sights and sounds of China.
We shopped at the same store in the Pearl Market and the same gals worked there during both of our trips.
Anyway, I know you're anxious to get home (but no so anxious for the flight!). Safe travels to the three of you!

What a fascinating trip to the pearl market! I've heard about it from so many people but this was the first time to actually experience it 'with' someone. What a treat! When the gal was working with the necklace was she stringing it for you? Whatever she was doing she was so quick! Beautiful, beautiful treats for your baby girl and your family. I noticed you purchased pearls for 'Catherine' Really...you didn't have to! lol!!

Oh my gosh this is so awesome, congrats- by now you are on US soil and maybe even already home and totally exhausted and jet lagged :O) Hope you all get back on track and adjusted quickly... can't wait to meet you all in person when life settles in and get some photos of that beautiful little girl of yours!!
