We Have Travel Approval

Yesterday we were notified by our Agency that we have received Travel Approvals. Another HUGE step taken ultimately having us boarding a plane for China and ALYZABETH!

For family and friends:
Our next step involves our Agency securing us an appointment date with the US Consulate in Guangzhou. We hope to have confirmation of an appointment date within 6 business days or sometime next week.

IF (and notice the IF is capitalized for emphasis), all goes well next week and we receive notification of a Consulate appointment, we MAY be able to book our flights with a projected travel date of mid-September.
Again, none of this is written in stone but is merely our Agency's best case scenario for us at this time.

To all the families in our Travel Group:
CONGRATULATIONS!!!
We look forward to meeting you all soon on our shared trip of a lifetime...
peace

Two weeks from referral to TA?! OH-MY-WORD!!! That is awesome! We waited forever for TA. Well, five weeks and, believe me, that felt like forever!

Congratulations on this very speedy TA. I'm thrilled for you!

Awsome news! CCAI is just the BEST at getting their clients to China ASAP!

Wow! We are sssooo jazzed for you and Alyzabeth An! Is that record time from referral to TA or what? Due to our SN classification, we were matched in the US and not necessarily by the C**A, so there was a lot of paper pushing which had to occur between our agency and China before we received our TA. Altogether we waited 13 weeks before we received the TA and then another 2 or so before we set foot on a plane.
Congratulations Ford & Aly - we've been checking in daily for updates - this is great!
Love ya,

I know exactly how excited you are. The nannies at Nanchuan SWI take such good care of the babies. They are wonderful ladies. The director is great, too. She really loved all the babies in our group. She even cut Karsynn's hair before Gotcha Day. We can't wait to follow your journey. Just a little while longer! Hang in there!!!!

So exciting I know. We were in your shoes just one year ago. Traveling in mid September is still very warm in China.. (light clothes for the suitcase) :) I hope you hear something soon. I can't wait to "travel" back to China with you!

you know that moment on the roller coaster where you have just reached the top of the last, huge hill and the coaster seems to slow down for just a second before it begins flying down the hill while your stomach rushes into your throat?

yeah... that's the moment... enjoy rolling down this last big hill!!!!

CONGRATULATIONS! I haven't checked in here in so long, but I'm so glad to see this!!

If that photo in the header is of her, oh man is she absolutely gorgeous or what? You just want to take that sweet face in your hands and protect her.

Every time I come over here, I just cry. A bright pearl, that is so perfect and wonderful. I am so happy for you both. I can't wait until she is home. This Christmas there will a new stocking and no more ornaments about waiting. This year there will be ornament for Alyzabeth's first Christmas at home.
