Show and Tell this week is going to be a combination of this story in honor of Memorial Day and our weekend escapades.
I loved reading this WWII story so will use this as S&T. Wonderful story. Maybe someone can help her find Joe's family.
Pictures of our weekend family fun will come later. For those interested in pictures (if you were with us, please upload your photos to a Picasa public album), go here.
Here's a sneak preview of the beginning of our Saturday evening party:
This is written as part of Mel's Show and Tell Sunday; read what the other kids in the class are sharing. It is also National Comment Leaving Month - join in!

Thank you so much for stopping by and leaving a comment on my blog! The boat party looks like so much fun! We live near the water (in California) and try to get out as much as we can. We even got married on a boat!
Anyway, I hope we can keep in touch. I look forward to following along with your adoption journey. :)
Thanks so much for mentioning my search for Joe's family! I'm glad you stopped by to read about it. I'm sure I'll be back to check on you again soon. :)
Looks like sooo much fun...
HAPPY BIRTHDAY..
Have a Great Week..
That was an incredible story. I hope the family finds her post by googling their own name.
I hear from a little birdie that belated wishes are due to Aly....hope your birthday was all that (looks like you had a ball and a half...according to Don and Be's blog).....may all your wishes and dreams come true this birthday and all year long!!! hugs!!

That looks like a fun party. Water and boats is right up my family's alley, so I am a little jealous.
1. Thanks for leaving me a post.
2. Happy Birthday!
3. That was a great story. It is sad how very little history has been preserved in light of the heroism that was involved. I hope her post gets noticed bu someone that can guide her in the right direction.
Happy birthday to you... you live in a zoo... better not go on with that song... hehehe... sounds like (from Don and Be) you had a great time and do love St Augustine... take care
It's me again ... just wanted you to know that I DID connect with Joe's family - can you believe it?! I'll be posting an update on my blog in a few days ... I hope you can stop by and read the update!
