CCAA matched through January 12, 2006. Three days! We need to get to our LID January 27, 2006.
We will be into 2009 at this rate for us!!! (seems that far away, yet the prediction right now is August for referral; travel in October)!! This wait had been sad, frustrating and longing.
What can we say? We will love our new daughter, we have been loving her daily; we want our daughter before we need a nurse to take care of us!! (quote from my very witty Maine BIL). Old age is setting in!!

How do we do it? DH and I are always talking about our daughter and remembering her everyday; we discuss something each day that reminds us of "how we will do such and such when we have Lizzy with us", we blog about her, I have worn a bracelet since August 2005 that has "I am the best thing Made in China" on it; everyday we remember our missing daughter, we read others blogs DAILY and watch their happiness when they have their "Forever Family" together, we talk about finally being able to buy a "newer" car after the China trip, everyday we live with Lizzy............ I love telling friends about our three little girls growing up together: our two grands and Lizzy.......no day goes by that Alyzabeth An isn't on our mind.......it has made us love our precious family all the more during the wait (is that possible?)........ we have the BEST family!!

Oh how loved your precious daughter is! Your attitude during the wait is beautiful! I love how you talk constantly about what you will do with her when she is home. It keeps her close. It keeps your daughter right where she should be...at the forefront of your thoughts and emotions.

I can't even imagine how you're being so positive. With our LID about 11 months behind yours, at this rate, we'll be collecting our pensions by the time we get a referral.

15 days. So close. And yet, seemingly so far......You do such a great job of keeping a positive attitude. Something I need a little practice with! I'm so glad to have so many people to follow along on their journey. By the time it's our turn, I'll be a pro!
Your baby is waiting for you. She has already been born! I just know in my heart you WILL get your referral this year. And bring home your beautiful daughter from China. And we will all be celebrating along with you when it finally happens!

As always I raise a toast to your positive outlook! August will be here before you know it. I'm still trying to figure out how in the WORLD half the year is almost over :O)
It won't be too much longer. This wait has been so long for all of us, but I can finally say it is worth it!

3 days? WOW. I've been a bit out of the loop, and I knew it was longer and longer... but sheesh!
Just try to remember... she WILL get here and that when she does, it will be SO worth the wait. Trust me. :)
