Hey, out here $3.49 for gas is a steal. I paid $3.84 on Friday, and I've seen $3.97 since then. Ouch!
Yeah- I kinda freaked at the store buying a pack of gum that was $1.29... I was like, "wait, how much??" and she replied, "Yep, that's what happens when the price of gas goes up to $3.55 a gallon, everything else goes up" - except, of course, my salary!
This will make you feel better...
Our fuel hit an all time high this week at $1.57 per litre = ($5.88 per gallon!!!) And our milk is about the same price. Our cows must eat gold-plated grass?!!!
Oy!
Sad isn't it..

I paid $123.00 to fill up my SUV the other day, and I am paying $6.00 a gallon for organic milk!!!!
Yup...it's WAY out of control!
I wish I could take up cycling to work but the laboring ladies may not appreciate the delay ;0)
Yikes...it's just scary! Dad was saying this weekend that if we convert what we're paying per litre in Canada to a US gallon we're paying over $5.00 a gallon! Soon it may be worth the 2 hour drive to the border to pay $3.49 a gallon. That's just wrong!!
I have a feeling many of us will be sticking closer to home this summer and sometimes choosing to walk rather than drive. Hmmm...maybe it won't be all bad.

It's more expensive here in Canada, not that it makes anyone feel better. They say the price of food here has gone up 70% in the last year, mosty because of the gas prices (and taxes). I noticed that right away on our trip to Florida, our grocery bills were half there of what we spend at home. Sad, isn't it?
Last week I bought gas (I live in the Los Angeles area) and it was $4.16 a gallon. Aggghhhhh.
Let's just hope the increase in fuel doesn't have the same effect on flights to China!
I am never driving again! I might start giving Gas Gift Cards to my friends/family for their birthdays. This is getting tough.

I drive approx. 50mi to work. 1 way.
It is costing me about $100.00/week for gas just for work!
That's $400.00 a month just to get to work and back home again.
And prices are still rising!!
I'm more impressed with the Chinese food called Wok & Roll, that is a hoot!!
The other is depressing 3.49 UGH!!
I paid $4.06 for regular gas this afternoon (premium was $4.20).
Oh for the good old days of $3.49.
