Reading Writing Living

If you have followed our blog you will have occasionally come across a link to Susan over at Reading Writing Living. Susan's writing captured my attention and admiration some time ago. Her unique perspective on adoption is both enlightening and intensely personal. I asked Susan if I could link to one of her recent posts and she has graciously agreed.

I would not rush through Susan's writings. If your time is limited, I would suggest a morning or evening when the "rush" of life grants you a moment of peace allowing you what I know will be a truly pleasurable journey of one writing from the heart...

The Lost Story by Susan Ito

—Susan Ito is the co-editor of A Ghost At Heart's Edge: Stories & Poems of Adoption. She is a Creative Nonfiction Editor at LiteraryMama, where she writes a monthly column about intergenerational living called "Life in the Sandwich." Her blog is ReadingWritingLiving and she is currently recommending The English American by Alison Larkin, which she describes as "a funny/sad/wise brand-spanking-new novel about a British adoptee on a journey to find her roots in Kentucky."
