Protecting The Baby Gator

We've been needing a car seat. Actually, we plan to get two, one for each of our vehicles to avoid the hassle of swapping one back and forth. So, until we bite the bullet and do just that, here is our first! It's the Britax Roundabout. We have our eye on the Marathon for the longer trips but the Roundabout should do fine for everyday jaunts. It seems we were not alone in shopping for a car seat, Cindy over at Yearning For A Child appears to have found just what she was looking for as well :)

And yes, that's a Gator logo you see. Alyzabeth doesn't stand a chance. Her parents may regale her with whimsical tales of Maine and Missouri but in the end, she's destined to bleed the blue and orange of Florida.

Now THAT is a car seat.. even if it is in the wrong colors for this Buckeye gal. I'll not let the dh see this blog or he'll want to go find us a scarlet and gray one..

Love it!

After my numerous older child dreams, I am holding off on the carseat until referral. I'm still thinking I'll need to go Britax shopping but I'll be sure first.

Ooo comfy looking seat!

PS we have very little humidty here - its a very dry heat. Which means you frazzle in the sun, very quickly! And burn very quickly too! Queensland, in the top end of Australia, has all the humidity! I'm from the bottom end of Australia (that didn't sound very nice, hey?!!!)

I'm laughing out loud as I posted a picture of our new Britax on my daughter's blog too. Funny the things us bloggers find to post :)
