Catch & Release St Johns River Style

Alyson's cousin Carolyn has her parents down visiting and I was able to slip out with Will, Carolyn's dad, for a little largemouth bass fishing. It was a typical wrap and peel day as the temperature started out brisk but before you knew it, Will had his shirt off capturing some of North Florida's golden rays on that long and lanky Maine body of his :)

The rays of the sun wasn't the only thing we caught! We each hooked up with 4 nice bass to go along with at least that many more that we both failed to get to the boat. We snapped a picture of a couple and like true bass sportsmen, we released all of them back to the tannin stained waters of the St Johns River.

It was a beautiful and fun day on the water with Will. We'll have to do it again sometime!
