I always chuckle when I read people debating the good, the bad and the ugly about Rumor Queen. It's on par with admitting you read (or worse - admitting you buy) the gossip mags lining the grocery store check out lane.
I don't personally buy the gossip mags but who's kidding who - I scan the cover. All to say, have you caught this latest one from the one and only IA Queen of Rumor????
European Rumor

A European site says the cut off will be the 12th, possibly the 13th. There is no information about where this information comes from. They say they are “confirming this”, they aren’t treating it as a rumor but as fact.
I give it an R1 or an R2 at this point. I hope they are right, but I wouldn’t take it to the bank just yet.
So, any doubts as to whether this little jewel grabs the attention of those standing in the adoption world Waiting Line?...And oh yes, would you like paper or plastic?

I hate to admit it, but I read her site. Sometimes I get so mad at myself and swear it off but I find myself back there. I hope this rumor is true. Can't stand the high hopes and them the crash!

Yada yada, it starts out this way every month and then by the time we're done they got through 4 days. I do find some of her other info interesting on occasion, but guessing how many days are going to be processed each month doesn't catch my eye anymore. It's always way off.
You know ... I do check out her sight... but I don't take things serious...Some times I think she says things to get people all up tight...
And it works...
I hope that it is true... I hope they get to the 15th...
I seriously think they will speed things up... I have said that from the beginning and I am going to believe that ....
But we will see...

I don't buy the rag mags but must admit to being a RQ junkie. Reading the European rumour today made my heart beat faster and my tummy flip-flop even though I didn't want it to. I want to believe this rumour but am so afraid of being hurt again. But alas, I'm putting my heart out there again hoping, cheering and praying what the rumour says is true!!
It does start out like this every month and the last time there was European "fact" it was false.

The title of the site pretty much indicates the validity of the content - it's entertaining to read some of the comments. The rumors do play with prospective parent's delicate emotions (as do the chat rooms)during a difficult time.
