Wow, that is an amazing and heartbreaking post. I wonder how old her daughter was when she was adopted?
So well written, and so heartfelt. Like redmaryjanes said, do you know how old her daughter was, when she adopted her? I'm reading an attachment book at the moment. Apparently, for some kids, it just doesn't matter what age they are at adoption, they'll still have fear issues. I'm still living in dreamland, that our love and practical house, will be enough?
Sorry that I am just now finding your link to my post. I'm glad some of you liked it. Our daughter was 12 months old when we adopted her in 2001.
