Every Year.... Replace the Flag

Our American Flag barely lasts a year. It is weather beaten, frayed and faded after each summer and hurricane season has concluded.
I can't seem to locate the post on the story behind our flag pole (my Dad made it and installed it as a birthday gift).... it must be one of those we did when we use WordPress for our blogging host last year. Off to find it....

The new Flag is flying!

The tag blanket is based on the concept that babies always look for the tag or silk ribbon binding on blankets. They seem to be comforted by feeling it. If you google taggy blanket they have a whole website with clothing, blankets and stuffed animals. It's pretty cool, they were invented by a Mom and now she is a millionare.
