Dedicated to my Dad

December 7, 1941. A day that will live in infamy...

On this particular date my dad was a fresh face kid from Missouri. By the time it was over, he was a wise beyond his years, battle tested, war surviving man.

Thanks Dad, for all you did and all you do. Yours truly is the Greatest Generation.

Please tell your father thank you for me. I so admire the men and women who served in WWII. During the war, one of my grandmothers joined the Army (at least I think it was the Army) and worked in the Pentagon. My other grandmother's husband was serving in the Pacific, and she went to work here in California building aircraft for the military. I think they're pretty remarkable women.

I most certainly will pass your kind thank you on to my dad. And your Grandmother's were absolutely REMARKABLE women. If possible - please give them my most sincere
Thank You as well.

I, too, send my sincere thanks to your dad and those just like him. Their actions provided their future generations with far more than they could have ever known at the time. Sadly, I think it has taken far too long to realize that.
