Yea!!! We are officially Approved!!

From the CCAA website:

The CCAA has finished the review of the adoption application documents registered with our office before January 31, 2006.

What can one say? We have been approved. The past 45 days while sitting in the Review Room has not been fun. You can think of every reason in the world as to why the CCAA will deny your adoption request. Why you don't measure up. Why something is wrong. Why your dreams for a little one are one step from being squashed.

We've been approved. We're worthy... We're blessed. We are over-joyed.

We have to share with you all how we found out this great news today. We were at work early this morning and our daughter Leaa called and said CONGRATULATIONS, you're out of the Review Room. We were flabbergasted. We hadn't checked. We didn't expect it. We had goose bumps. Unbelievable.

Thank you Leaa. What a great early morning pick me up! We love you...

We are out of the Review Room and have made our way to the Matching Room. We still have a loonnngggg ways to go (think August) but at least our dream of a little one is one GIANT step closer. We celebrated by going to one of our favorite restaurants tonight, Biscotti's. We are beyond excited!!! Life is good.
