So DH (Dear Hubby) had a plan to go to a couple of his favorite SE Missouri BBQ places (and a place in Kentucky called Starnes) and buy a couple bottles of their sauces to take home as gifts. Plus the fact I think he would eat BBQ everyday if possible :)
We have a few co-workers from the same general area that brag about their town's BBQ and thought they may enjoy sampling and comparing. Our first stop was a place Ford told me served the absolute BEST BBQ sandwich and I was in for a true BBQ culinary delight. SE Missouri style!
Unfortunately, things don't always go as one hopes...
Small town family run businesses do take vacations! Poor DH :(

awe.... there's nothing like your own hometown BBQ spot. Kinda ironic that they all seem to have that old town vintage look to them.
