Unknown Flower

A strange plant growing in NE Florida.......
This is a VERY hardy bush that has been in our yard since we purchased our home over 16 years ago. We didn't know what it was and have mowed around it all this time. It blooms with these strange, waxy orange flowers. The bush is very "woody". Anyone know what it is?

It kinda looks like a Plumeria. They come in different Varieties. Is it fragrant?

It definitely looks like a variety of camilia. I had something similar in another house.

I don't know what it is; but last night I spent much time trying to find out. . . I was so fixated on finding out that I went to bed far too late!

OK, so I'm up again, too late. ;-)
