US Kids - Round 2 Sunday Red, White and Blue

Sunday began as a sunny and soon to be HOT day. Both Ford and AA were worn out from yesterday's round. Even though AA can play 18 holes any day in Florida, being conditioned for these hills is not the same. AA admitted that it was tiring today. She keeps moving and keeps swinging!

Ready at Hole 1:
I stayed away again, somehow I just can't stay calm while AA plays in a U.S. Kids Tournament. Nerves!
Overall, she played well, with a 40 on the front and a 40 on the back nine. We are proud of her 36 she scored yesterday. The 18th Hole had some drama as a Dad said his daughter's ball was in some poison ivy. The rules official said that it has to be played or take a penalty. Took quite awhile to determine that, so AA and Annika finished the hole then waited and watched Grace finish.
First two finished:

Girls 11: friend Vanessa Borovilos finished third place (middle, shortest girl):
We met with the Mawhinney's for dinner at Red Bowl Asian restaurant and enjoyed catching up and telling funny (mostly golfing) stories. Everyone was hot and sweaty! Tyler finished in 2nd place (Boys 9), he had two days of low scores!
Also, very happy for local NE FL Boys (10) golfer, Gavin Fleming for his top finish!
Now to have fun in Philadelphia and Maine!!
